Linda Allen, known for designing Olympic jumping courses, will conduct a hunter/jumper clinic at Sport Horses Of Rohan, Saturday and Sunday, Aug 30 -31. The clinic will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Each day consists of four clinics, with morning clinics focusing on hunters and afternoon clinics focusing on jumpers.
Allen is an accomplished equine professional in all aspects. She is a USEF and FEI judge, and gives clinics on riding, judging and course design. With more than 40 years of experience in the horse industry, she has won a number of awards. She has received the Walter Cox Trophy for ASHA Course Designer of the Year four times, won The Chronicle of the Horse’s Show Jumping Horseman of the Year, and numerous other honors.
She has excelled in the show ring, with experience ay the Grand Prix level and as a member of the U.S. Equestrian Team’s Nations Cup several times.
The clinic will allow riding students to expand their abilities as they learn from one of the leaders in the industry. This is only one of many annual clinics SHOR holds to allow students opportunities to increase their skills.
Linda will also be teaching short stirrups at this clinic. |
